About MAMNA
The Mid-Atlantc Micro/Nano Alliance (MAMNA) is a non-profit alliance of companies, universities, and government laboratories in the Baltimore-Washington metropolitan area.
MAMNA’s mission is to bring the local research community together.
We achieve this by hosting various events such as workshops, annual symposium and happy hours. We provide forums for our members to interact, such as our job posting board and linkedin group. These resources give our membership the opportunity to network, share their research and expand their knowledge in the fields of micro and nano engineering.

MAMNA’s members benefit most from each other.
Networking at our meetings can lead to members gaining access to facilities or capabilities outside of their institution. Presenting research at our meeting leads to useful feedback which can stimulate new ideas. Workshops and speakers can give members new skills to use in their research. These resources give our membership the opportunity to network, share their research (to stimulate new ideas), share their resources (to provide access to processing or other capabilities) and expand their knowledge in the fields of micro- and nano-engineering.
